River + Fir

11-01-12 to 01-05-13

November is always filled with a flurry of activity that doesn’t end until around the fifth of January. Family, friends, baking, cooking, laughing, decorating, presents, traditions.

It’s a flurry. The dark and wet and cold nights of November. Shiny, reflections in windows and puddles and wet streets. Wind and rain.

Today it began with a dark morning dog walk, and it ends the same. Daylight savings around the corner, but not more daylight. A bittersweet betrayal.

Be safe. Be warm. Be with those you love.

Don’t forget to be good to yourself. Grace abounds.
